By Davis Mugabi

A city businessman has gone missing, the news site has learnt.

He has been identified as Bazibu Bruno Francis. He was into real estate business. However, for some time now, no one has heard from him.

A family source says that he was last seen in October 2020 around Entebbe. At the time he was seen, he was among the National Unity Platform supporters who were welcoming Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine, as he (Bobi Wine) returned to Uganda from overseas. According to his fellow party member, Bazibu was arrested on 31st October 2020 by the Special Forces Command (SFC), an elite guard charged with guarding the President.

Recently his driver, one Wakoli, disappeared. Last month, Wakoli’s body was found in Koboko district, raising concern about Bazibu’s whereabouts.

Bazibu Bruno Francis is supporter of NUP, the largest opposition political party in Uganda.

His family says Bazibu’s known phone numbers are switched off and his whereabouts remain a mystery.
