The Minister of state for Trade, Industry and Cooperatives (Industry), David Bahati, has lauded Hariss International LTD, the parent company of Riham for creating jobs, wealth and paying taxes.

Riham employs thousands of Ugandans and is one of Uganda’s most loyal taxpayers.

On Thursday, Bahati, also the Member of Parliament, Ndorwa County West and NRM Chairperson, Kabale paid a courtesy call on the factory in Kawempe Division.

His conclusion was that they (Hariss International factory of beverages and confectionery at Kawempe making products under the brand Riham) “are making great contribution in terms of job creation, wealth and taxes.”
