A local Pastor has Saturday died in a road accident.

The incident in which Emmanuel Wagodo, 30, a local Pastor in Paliisa and resident of Kasodo Village, Kasodo Sub-County in Paliisa happened at Kitantalo along Iganga-Mbale road.

15-year-old Isma Semeri also died in the same accident.

The deceased were being driven by Ali Orone, 27, in a Nissa pick-up registration number UAN 702P when it (the car) experienced a tyre burst.

Bukedi Region Police Spokesperson Immaculate Alaso confirmed the incident.

She said all the deceased were occupants of the said car.

Bodies have been taken to Kibuku HCIV mortuary pending postmortem, she said revealing the cause of the accident to have been a tyre burst.
