Big Game! John Revita fit for KCCA FC game away to SC Villa

By Davis Mugabi

SC Villa host UPL table toppers this afternoon at the FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.

The good news for the visitors is that John Revita is back. The defender returned to full team training this week after missing the previous game against Police FC due to a knock he suffered in the game against Vipers SC. He is available for selection.

Although Julius Poloto and Yassar Mugerwa continued with rehabilitation this week, the game against SC Villa comes a little too early for the pair.

Defender Peter Magambo continued having individual light training this week and is yet to start full training with the squad.

Geofrey Wasswa is ruled out due to injury. They defender joins long injury concerns in Brian Kayanja and Emmanuel Wasswa who are ruled out for a while and whose return date is unknown.

Musa Ramathan, Mugume Ashraf, Wafula Innocent and Anaku Sadat are suspended.

What KCCA FC Manager Morley Byekwaso says:

“We want to go all out and maintain the current form we have had this season. We know Villa have some young lads that are good on the ball and we have prepared well for them. This is a derby and games like these are never easy. So much anticipation and the magnitude of the game sometimes comes into play. I have tasked my players to manage the game very well and ensure we pick three points.”
