A passenger (female juvenile) has this afternoon died after an accident involving an Isuzu Bus registration number UAQ 045Q belonging to Eagle Bus Company and a truck registration number UAA 013C at Aminomir Trading Centre along the Kamdini-Gulu road.

Faridah Nampiima, the Traffic and Road Safety Directorate Spokesperson says that the deceased body has been taken to Anyeke Health Centre IV for a postmortem.

5 people have been taken to Lacor hospital for first aid and treatment.

Nampiima explained that at about 1pm, the bus heading to Gulu from Kampala hit a stationed truck, lost control, knocked a house and overturned.

Both drivers are still at large, Nampiima said.
