Another UPDF vehicle involved in accident, towed away after occupants block traffic cop from documenting it

Another UPDF vehicle, a Toyota Prado has been involved in an accident.
The latest incident happened at 10pm last night in Mutungo, a Kampala city suburb.
According to sources, the other car involved in the accident was a Toyota Ractis registration number UBJ 755A.
However, further sources say that when the traffic officer approached the scene for documentation, he was blocked and the vehicle number plate covered before it was towed away.
Traffic and Road Safety Directorate Spokesperson Faridah Nampiima confirmed the incident.
She said whereas the Toyota Ractis is parked at Police pending an IOV inspection, the suspected UPDF vehicle is at large.
Nampiima, however, said the matter is under investigation Vide TSD 02/17/01/2022 of Kitintale Police Station.
