The family of fallen city lawyer Anthony Wameli is soliciting for US$ 30, 000.

Wameli, the head the National Unity Platform – NUP – legal department succumbed to cancer Wednesday in the United States.

His wife, Olive Wameli, is rallying for contributions from well-wishers to raise the funds that will go towards the repatriation of the body and burial arrangements.

“Anthony has been a dedicated Husband, Father, Lawyer and Pastor who has unfortunately lost his battle to cancer. We are coming together to send him off to his resting place back in Uganda. We are thankful for everyone’s support until this moment,” Mrs. Wameli says.

By press time, US$1,310 had been raised.
