The news coming in is that Daily Monitor Health journalist Tonny Abet has been arrested.

His colleague, Abubakar Lubowa, says Abet is detained at Lubowa Police Station.

The reason for his arrest is not clear, as the police are yet to give a formal statement. 

However, Lubowa houses one of Uganda’s failed projects: a specialized hospital.
