Absa Bank of Uganda Limited has declined to “attend and contribute towards the royal wedding scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 18, 2023.”

These details are contained in a letter dated October 13, 2023.

Hellen Basuuta Nangonzi, the Marketing and Customer Experience Director, says that “we are unable to support this request due to earlier scheduled commitments in the period.”

Nangonzi was responding to a letter from the Kingdom.

The King of Busoga, William Wilberforce Gabula Nadiope IV, will tie the knot with Queen Mutesi at Christ Cathedral in Jinja City on November 18, 2023.

Given this process, the organizing committee earlier reached out to friends, relatives, and well-wishers for support.
