The police in Mukono have in custody a 28-year-old man for disguising as a female student and accessing a girls’ dormitory at Our Lady Secondary School.
The suspect has been identified as Steven Kibirango.
According to facts available, on August 1, 2022; Kibirango trespassed into the said school, disguised as a female student and accessed the girls’ dormitory at 3am.
Sources say that he descended on to a 16-year-old victim who shouted shortly after.
It was then that the alarm attracted the attention of authorities, prompting Kibirango’s arrest.
Police Spokesperson Fred Enanga confirmed the arrest.
He, however, said that the Police are looking into how the Police could fail to notice an intruder access the school compound and above all, enter into the girls’ dormitory.
By press time, Kibirango was still being detained at the Central Police Station in Mukono.
