Developing: Boat carrying passengers, charcoal capsizes in Buvuma

A boat carrying passengers and charcoal has capsized in Buvuma.
The boat is said to have capsized this morning on its way from Lingira, Buvuma, to Masese in Jinja.
No rescues have been made yet.
Regional Police Spokesperson Hellen Butoto says the boat capsized due to bad weather and that “some people are believed to have drowned.”
