Following an explosion along the Parliament Avenue in Kampala, officials of the Ministry of ICT and National Guidance have been injured.

“All of us are safe. A few colleagues were hurt by flying window glasses and debris,” State Minister for ICT and National Guidance, Godfrey Baluku Kiime Kabbyanga confirmed.

A detailed information will be communicated, Kabbyanga says.

Another explosion went off at the Central Police Station, Kampala. Injuries have been reported. No official communication from government or security has been released.
