Jinja City: The police at Kakira have in custody a Pastor identified as Joseph Sserubiri and his wofe Felista Namaganda for killing their landlord’s 4-year-old daughter identified as Nakisuyi Trinity Nabirye Zabella.
Nakisuyi went missing on September 30, 2021. Sserubiri and his wife were then treated as key suspects since they were last seen with the child.
Their church, Deliverance and Healing Ministries sits on John Mulodi’s land.
Since the disappearance of the child, Sserubiri’s phone has been under tracking by security until today the pair was arrested. Upon interrogation, Sserubiri and his wife confessed to killing Nakisuyi with a motive of establishing a “powerful deliverance” church in Kakira.
Regional Police Commander, James Mubi confirmed the arrest.
By press time, the suspects were leading investigators where they buried the deceased body.
