Observed over 7 days! Covid-19 infections begin to increase ahead of Christmas, New Year festivities

The number of Covid-19 infections in Uganda are beginning to increase.

This is ahead of Christmas and New Year festivities.

An analysis carried out by The Gazette shows that between December 8, 2021 and December 18, 2021, infection rate has been gradually increasing.

For instance, results for December 14, 2021 revealed 88 new cases of Covid-19.

On December 9, 2021 test results showed 36 new infections.

No explanation has been offered so far as per the increase.
