Two more Makerere University students have been arrested in connection to the on-going students strike.

The students yesterday staged a strike demanding full re-opening of the University.

Against the above background, 12 students were arrested.

However, according to Metropolitan Police Spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire, they were this morning granted bond.

Owoyesigyire, however, added that two more students were this morning arrested and are being detained at Wandegeya Police Division.
