An aircraft, CRJ 9 this morning at 5:31am (flight number 464) veered off the runway on landing at Entebbe International Airport.
The Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA) reports that all the passengers were disembarked safely and the situation is under control.
“The second (alternate) runway 12/30 is operational for small and light aircraft,” CAA said in a statement adding that all efforts are underway to remove the aircraft from the runway strip so that the main runway can return to full use.
According to RwandAir, “All passengers and flight crew deplaned safely with no reported injuries.”
