The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Martin Okoth Ochola has named a team to review and ascertain the existence of Police land across the country.
Well-placed sources say the ‘Special Committee of Police Land’ is headed by CP Sarah Nakyagaba and deputised by ACP Martin Abilu.
The team is expected to: review and ascertain the existence of our (Police) land and its boundaries in the whole Country; address issues of encroachment; update all records of Police Land and any other issues and or assignments that may come up in due course.
This work is to be done in six months and a report furnished, a source tells Kampala Gazette.
