The Police at Kasangati are investigating the an aggravated robbery of a firearm from a security guard belonging to GKO security company.

The latest victim of smash and grab was attacked while heading to his beat.

“He was cut by unidentified assailants at about 7:30 PM in Magere cell, Kasangati and his gun taken,” Deputy Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson, Luke Owoyesigyire says.

He adds: “Our team responded and took him to Mulago hospital for treatment while the search for the gun has commenced.”
