A senior detective attached to the Criminal Investigations Directorate – CID – has died.

D/SP Daniel Mugisha was pronounced dead on arrival at Nsambya hospital in Kampala early this morning.

Mugisha is reported to have suffered pressure after watching the fireworks display.

By the time of his death, Mugisha was the Regional CIDO in charge of Greater Bushenyi.
