PC Ivan Wabwire has been arrested in Kenya, Kampala Gazette has exclusively obtained.
An irrefutable source told the Gazette last night that PC Wabwire was arrested Saturday after hours of tracking his mobile devices.
By press time, PC Wabwire was being held at Police’s highly guarded Busia border facility.
Background
On Friday afternoon, PC Wabwire approached the director of TFS financial services at Raja Chambers for an engagement over a loan he reportedly acquired in 2020. According to information available, PC Wabwire proposed that an unnamed bank buys off is loan. However, it appears the discussion did not go as he had anticipated, prompting him to open fire at Uttam Bhandari, killing instantly.
