Opposition Forum for Demoratic Change – FDC – honcho, Col Rtd Kizza Besigye has described ex-Erute North MP, Charles Angiro Gutmoi as strong, principled and straight talking.
Gutmoi and three others died in a nasty accident on Saturday morning on their way to Nebbi in West Nile.
In a statement last evening, Dr. Besigye said the manner in which the veteran politician died was “quite devastating”

The tragic death of Hon Angiro Gutomoi Abac Acon in a Road Accident is quite devastating.
He’s been a strong, principled & straight-talking leader; a great mobiliser and social worker.
3 relatives also died in the same car: Debora Ogwang, Ogwal Dan, Goodluck Jonathan(12yrs)!
Abac Acon survived miraculously a similar accident, on the same road, in a similar vehicle in 2018!
He’ll be greatly missed by his family, the clan- Onywal Ipyeda, of which he’s been the Awitong (leader); the Lango community; and all Ugandans.
