Relatives, friends and family have agreed to have remains of former Erute North MP Charles Angiro Gutmoi laid to rest on Friday, July 21, 2023 at his ancestral home in Arwotomito Village, Tekulu, Aromo Sub-county in Lira district.
Angiro died in a nasty accident last weekend at Murchison Game Park on his way to Nebbi for a traditional marriage. 3 of his relatives also died in the incident while two were left injured. This was the second time, in a similar car (Toyota Noah) the ex-lawmaker was involved in a road accident. The first incident happened in 2018 along Gulu-Kampala highway. He was left with serious injuries.

The burial programme
BURIAL PROGRAME FOR THE BURIAL OF THE LATE HON. ABAC ACON CHARLES ANGIRO GUTOMOI IN ARWOTOMITO VILLAGE, TEKULU, AROMO SUB-COUNTY ON 21st JULY 2023.
TUESDAY 18th.JULY.2023:
The body will leave Lira Regional Refferial Hospital Mortuary for a Council session at Lira District Chumber 9:00 am.
Thereafter, the bodies will be taken to his home in Kirombe, Lira City West Division, for a night vigil.
WEDNESDAY 19th JULY, 2023:
The bodies will then be transported to St Augustine, Barogole Cathedral, for a church service beginning at 10:00 am.
Thereafter, the bodies will leave at 1:30pm for his ancestral home at Arwotomito Village, Tekulu, Aromo Sub-county.
The body will then be taken to the church at home in the afternoon, a church he built personally at home.
THURSDAY 20th.JULY.2023.
The body will be laying at his home at Arwotomito Village, Tekulu, where people from Aromo, Ogur, Agweng, Ayami Sub-counties, and surrounding places will be allowed to pay their last respect from morning upto the Evening.
FRIDAY 21st, JULY, 2023.
The late ABAC ACON CHARLES ANGIRO GUTOMOI will be laid to rest in a function that will begin at 10:00am prompt. Led by lead celebrant Bishop Professor Alfred Olwa.
