Analysis: Regional Police PROs eat big in promotions, describe Enanga as their Hero

On Friday, Internal Affairs Minister, Maj. Gen. RTD. Kahinda Otafiire confirmed promotions of 1638 police officers.
Our analysis, however, shows that while other Directorates and Units had a fair share in the latest promotion, Regional Police Spokespersons are all smiles.
A scan through the list revealed promotion of 18 Regional PROs, including officers attached to the office of the Police Spokesperson, SCP Fred Enanga.

In the last promotion, Mohamed Nsubuga, the Ag PRO Masaka was promoted to the rank of SP from ASP. Others promoted in that cohort were Henrieta Namande (PRO staff officer), Gregory Ageca (PRO, East Kyoga) and Patrick Okema (PRO, North Kyoga).
The promoted officers attribute the promotion to their senior, SCP Enanga (for the recommendation).
In the next set of promotions, that of ASP Luke Owoyesigyire, the Deputy Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson, will be inevitable.
