Annet Nyakaisiki’s name is hard to miss when it comes to coffee brewing across the World. Voted the best in Uganda and Africa, and had to represent the Continent at an International level, Nyakaisiki is using her skills to impact the young people back at home. Through her initiative, the Barista House, the girl from Tooro is in the Coffee value chain doing value addition.
Barista House trains farmers (to produce quality coffee) and baristas (on brewing coffee) in a bid to ensure quality right from the farm to the cup.

However, she says that like any other investment, there are challenges.

Nyakaisiki wants her kind of trade (outstanding ones) to be empowered and supported to do more and even better.
