Reports just in indicate that two police officers have been shot dead by unknown assailants.

Anonymous sources have identified the deceased as Cpl Alfred Oketch and PC Moses Kigongo, all attached to Busunju Police Station in Mityana district.

Regional Police Spokesperson Rachael Kawaala is readying a statement on the killings.
