News coming in right now is that another traffic officer has been knocked death while on duty.

The deceased has been identified as PC Saula Kadede.

Well-placed sources say Kadede was responding to a scene of a minor accident when he was knocked dead by an unidentified vehicle.

Sources add that another officer who was with Kadede was left with a broken arm while the driver of the breakdown lost his legs in the incident.

By the time of his death, Kadede was attached to Kakiri Police Division.

Traffic and Road Safety Directorate is yet to formally comment on the incident.

Early this morning, another traffic officer identified as PC Micah Muhindo was knocked dead by a government car at Adwila on the Lira-Soroti road. The driver of the vehicle, John Oginere has been arrested for over speeding.
