The Senior Communication Officer, Mayuge District Local Government, is dead.
Lukiah Kakai died last night in an accident in Iganga Town.
Kakai was from attending the Royal Wedding in Jinja City, when the incident occurred near Nexus Fuel Station along Iganga-Jinja Highway.

Her employer has confirmed the incident, saying that the deceased rammed into a trailer, killing her on the spot.
Kakai was a strong football fan and renown supporter of Mbale Heroes FC.
The Club posted on their X-Account on Sunday saying:
It is with a collective broken heart and the deepest of regret that we announce the passing of our beloved fan, Lukiah Kakai. Our deepest condolences are extended to her family, relatives and beloved friends.
