There is a reported fire outbreak at St John’s Primary School in Kyotera.

One pupil has reportedly died in an incident.

Preliminary reports show that the fire started from the dormitory.

The Police are yet to formally comment on the story.

However, the Uganda Red Cross says “Fire out break at St John’s Primary School Kyotera dormitory. One boy reported dead. Our Rakai branch response team led by the Branch Manager is on ground, conducting assessment together with the DPC & the area member of Parliament.”
