If precedence is something to go by, then Charles M. Mudiwa, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of dfcu Bank, could be the Board Chairman of an entity. 

Recently, as dfcu celebrated 60 years at a high-end event held at Mestil Hotel in Kampala, Jimmy D. Mugerwa, the Chairman, Board of Directors of dfcu Bank, was introducing past MDs of the bank when he joked that Mudiwa’s next job could be Board Chairman. 

Looking at dfcu’s past MDs, Mathias Katamba is currently the Board Chairman of the Uganda National Oil Company (UNOC). Juma Kisaame, on the other hand, is the current board chairman of the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA). 

So, it was here that Mugerwa said to Mudiwa: Now you probably know what your next job is.
