Unconfirmed reports indicate that the acting Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) – Bukwo is dead.

Robert Charles Ogwang was reportedly shot dead at 1am in Bombo on the Kampala-Gulu highway as he headed to his hometown of Lira. Assailants also set his official vehicle on fire.

The motive of the attack is not yet known.

Kampala Metropolitan Police (KMP) is already looking into the matter and is expected to issue a statement this morning.
