Divisions at Museveni’s Kyambogo offices deepen

Divisions at the Office of the National Chairman of the National Resistance Movement Party based in Kyambogo continue to widen.
We have extensively reported about the issues at Kyambogo, an establishment currently headed by Uzeiye Hadijah (pictured) as Special Presidential Assistant/Personal Assistant to the President. However, staff at the ONC continue to exit over power and money, to the point that some did not bother to attend the ONC-organized function at the Kololo Ceremonial Grounds.
Ibrahim Kitatta, the spokesperson of the ONC, for example, skipped the Katonga celebration. Instead, he prioritized meeting his voters in Lwengo.
Going by photos shared over social media, Kitatta was in Rwensambya, Kawule, Kasagazi, and Lugologolo on Friday to address issues of land wrangles in the areas.
I am pleased to have had a conversation with our people of Rwensambya, Kawule, Kasagazi, and Lugologolo in Kalagala Malongo Sub County. Unknown people claiming to own titles on their land continue to distabilise their calm and productive stay on this land. Our leadership will protect Bibanja holders and their equitable interest on the land that they have used for generations,” he said.
