Do not grab Hajji Kafo’s house using your daughter—NRM Party Tells Hajji Sulaiman Lumolo
By Our Reporters
A section of NRM bigwigs at the Kyadondo party headquarters in Kampala have attacked Hajji Sulaiman Mafabi Lumolo and asked him not to use his position and daughter to grab the house belonging to Hajji Mutwalibi Kafo, the ex-husband of his daughter Asha Nabulo Mafabi.
Mafabi Lumolo is the NRM party chairman for Sironko district and husband to the party treasurer, Amb. Hon. Babra Nekesa Oundo.

Speaking to our reporters at Kyadondo party offices on Tuesday morning, sections of party bigwigs who never wanted to be mentioned here attacked Lumolo for allegedly using his position and the daughter to grab the property (house) that belongs to Hajji Kafo Mutwalibi located in Half London Mbale city.
Both Hajji Kafo Mutwalibi and Asha Nabulo married and stayed together for less than a year and called it quits following numerous disagreements where Lumolo Mafabi got shock and shame when his daughter told Kafo that she no longer wanted him in the presence of her father.
“We at the NRM party head office have been following the controversial marriage and the demands of Hajji Kafo Mutwalibi asking Asha to vacate the house, but we realized that it is her father bidding behind to allegedly grab the man’s property,” one of the bigwigs at the NRM party offices told us.
The officer went ahead and disclosed that the party feels bad for Hajji Kafo and total shame for Hajji Sulaiman Mafabi Lumolo for failure to remove his daughter behind failed the marriage tests.
“We have talked and advised Lumolo through our treasure here, asking them to politely guide the daughter to vacate the house. Lumolo has many properties where he could accommodate the daughter and get out of the shameful situation where everyone now thinks he (Lumolo) has a motive to grab Kafo’s house.”
Another party big shot told us that according to Moslem faith, in a situation like this, Hajji Kafo would demand the Mahale (money given to the lady during marriage vows) and other items like a car, among others, but “the man only asked for his house, and Lumolo failed to allow the daughter to leave. That is wrong.”
“For us here, we always look at Lumolo’s wife, of course our staff boss the treasure, and get a lot of sympathy for Kafo, whose house is being reportedly grabbed using the daughter.” The NRM party big shot intimated at our reporter at Kyadondo.
A fortnight ago, it was reported in the media how the leaked secret behind Asha grabbing Hajji Kafo’s house was planned. In fact, the press went ahead and disclosed that
Asha Nabulo Mafabi, the estranged wife of Hajji Mutwalibi Kafo, is reportedly set not to vacate Kafo’s house but instead take it (grab) as her property after the general elections in 2026, a source intimated to this news publication exclusively in a shocking twist of events over the collapsed marriage.
According to the source, there was a family meeting over the weekend in which her family members wanted to establish the truth about the escalating differences between herself and the husband.
Asha, who is the daughter of Hajji Sulaiman Mafabi Lumolo, the proprietor of Kampala Modernity Car, deports off Bugolobi and chairman of the of the NRM Party in Sironko district.
She is the current flagbearer for the Sironko district woman MP slot after losing to recently appointed state minister for Karamoja affairs Florence Nambozo Mayoga in the 2021 general elections.
It is evidenced that Asha Nabulo rejected her now former husband Hajji Kafo Mutwalibi, whom she had stayed with in the marriage for just one year; the rejection happened in the presence of her own biological father, Hajji Sulaiman Mafabi Lumolo, which he does not deny.
Following the denunciation of her husband in a failed marriage, Hajji Kafo reportedly sold the house in which Asha stays located in Half London, Mbale City.
This was after several demands asking her to vacate the house, while she refused on the grounds that it was her matrimonial house that she could not just leave.
Now, in what looked like a shocking twist of events, during a family meeting, Asha revealed that she had never rejected her man, Hajji Kafo, and vowed not to vacate her matrimonial home, a position she would consider after her elections in 2026.
“I have never denounced or rejected my husband, Kafo. I am still his wife and will not vacate; if he is tired of staying where he is, then he is welcome back home,” Asha asserted.
According to the source, she wants to grab the house after the 2026 general election. Should she win, then she would use her political powers to disorganize Hajji Kafo, but if she loses the election, she would still use other possible means, using court redress, to seek help to grab the house since it could be the only thing left with to grab at that time.
However, this comes at a time after the two have not met for conjugal rights for over 10 months.
Meantime information intercepted from Hajji Kafo’s secret box revealed that he sold the house and a new occupant would soon carry out a forced eviction, throwing Asha out of the house.
The new owner, whom this media house could not easily disclose by press time, was seeking a court to grant him permission to go ahead with throwing the daughter of a tycoon outside the house.
Some political analysts say that matter is purely political; however, a source close to Hajji Kafo reveals that there is no political vendetta, but the issues are marriage disagreement, which can not affect Asha’s political career, and should she behave by peacefully vacating the house, then possibly no embarrassing action would take place.
Efforts to get comment Lumolo over the matter failed though information indicated that he was busy mobilizing with his wife Babes Nekesa for President Museveni’s visit to Busia scheduled for 9th August 2024, where area Samia North MP John Mulimba will hold a thanksgiving ceremony.
