Eng. Olobo appointed to the Board of Railways Corporation

Works and Transport Minister, Gen. Katumba Wamala, has appointed Eng. Benjamin Olobo to the Board of Uganda Railways Corporation.
Eng. Olobo replaces Robert Kafeero Sekitoleko, who has been appointed the Chief Mechanical Engineer.
The Corporation confirmed the appointment in a post on X.
Eng. Olobo is a qualified Civil Engineer. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Civil Engineering from Makerere University, MSc, Highways Engineering and Management from the University of Birmingham, Masters of Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University and MSc Finance, Economic Policy from the University of London among others. He has over 15 years’ quality experience delivering comprehensive advisory and technical solutions for large scale transport infrastructure schemes in Sub-Saharan Africa, Western Europe and South Pacific Islands.
