Equity Bank Uganda has said that its managing director, Anthony Kituuka, is still around to help with identifying his successor. Kituuka resigned effective November 28, 2024.
The bank’s head of communication, Barbara Among, said on Sunday that Kituuka “resigned to pursue other interests. Kituuka served the bank for 10 years. Two of these years came when he was the MD.
Among says that “He will stay on for the next 3 months until February 2025 to help with identifying his successor for a smooth transition.”
According to Among, the bank will continue to run as usual, “and our customers continue to be our priority.”
