Former State Minister for Northern Uganda, Grace Freedom Kwicwiny, is mourning the death of her son, Jacwiny Jabero Herbert Ucama, who died in his sleep on Friday night.
The 40-year-old passed away at the family home in Akright Estate, Bwebajja, along Entebbe Road, according to family sources. The cause of death has not yet been disclosed.
Speaker of Parliament Anita Among conveyed her condolences to the bereaved family, describing the loss as devastating.
“My sister, Hon. Grace Freedom Kwicwiny, and family, accept my sincere condolences on the passing of your dear son, Jacwiny Jabero Herbert Ucama. The loss of a son is a devastating occurrence, and I pray that the Lord Almighty grants you and your family the strength to endure this difficult time,” the Speaker said.
Minister of State for Youth and Children Affairs Balam Barugahara also expressed his sympathy.
“May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may God grant strength and comfort to all who mourn him,” Barugahara said.
Burial arrangements are yet to be communicated.
