Former Member of Parliament for Bushenyi South and a Minister of Co-operatives in the Obote II era, Yona Kanyomozi, has died.

Close family sources say Kanyomozi died this afternoon from Nakasero hospital in Kampala.

Details of his cause of death remain scantly.
