Exclusive! Faces, Names Behind Arua Hospital Ambulance Theft Exposed

On March 27, 2021, Arua Hospital ambulance registration number UG 6812M (Toyota Land Cruiser) was stolen from the facility under very unclear circumstances.
However, following months of investigations, it emerged that the ambulance was in the DR Congo.
Yet, the faces and names behind the theft remained a mystery.
In this article, we reveal the faces and names of the said thieves.
They are Moses Baguma, Mathew Ewaru (an askari at the hospital), Alex Wadia (driver at the hospital), Phillian Dramani (a driver with Office of the Prime Minister-OPM), Denis Ocatre (Dental assistant at the hospital) and Yonas Oboth (Senior Hospital Administrator) and Christopher Ocadribo who is still at large.
Yesterday, they appeared before the Anti-Corruption Court in Kampala, and charged with charges of abuse of office, causing loss of public property, theft and conspiracy to commit a felony, and remanded to Kitalya Prisons.
