The fight for resources and power has placed the Minister for Presidency, Milly Babalanda, and Hadija Uzeiye, the Special Presidential Assistant and head of Office of the National Chairman (ONC) of the National Resistance Movement – NRM – against each other.

For some time now, Uzeiye and her team have been popularizing President Yoweri Museveni’s 2026 Presidential bid under the campaign dubbed “Jjajja Tova Ku Main”.

Sources say that the popularization across the country means (or comes with) a lot of power and resources (human and money).

Against the above background, Babalanda is said to have formed a parallel strategy dubbed “Jajja Tova Ku Ballot”. High-end sources say that Babalanda’s team is headed by her righthand boy, Joseph Ssewava.

Neither Uzeiye nor Ssewava picked our calls between 4pm and 5pm on Thursday.
