The territorial Police at Kira Road 1:20am this morning registered a fatal accident at Kiwatule along Northern Bypass involving Motorvehicle reg. KBZ 539Z (Mercedes Benz trailer) and Motorvehicle reg UBD 965E (Toyota land cruiser TX). 

The driver of Motorvehicle reg UBD 965E identified as Hon. Bafaki Gordon, 48, and a resident of Namugongo – Kira Division in Wakiso district died on spot and his body taken to Mulago City Mortuary. 

It is alleged that Bafaki knocked the rear body of the moving trailer. 

Traffic and Road Safety Directorate Spokesperson Faridah Nampiima says the driver of the Trailer identified as Kahagi John Kinuthia is in police custody to help in investigations.
