Police headquarters, Naguru: 233 Police Officers, including 56 Senior Officers, have retired from Service.

The officers were sent out this afternoon at a function presided over by the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Maj. Gen. Tumusiime-Katsigazi.

“Go out there, represent Police,” the DIGP said.

He appealed to retirees to take with them their families.

“Once you leave the barracks, please go with your family. We are going to chase them. So, please don’t leave your laggage,” he said. 

He warned: Remembe, you remain in the Police Family. Don’t go back to sleep, or marry a third wife. Remember, every mouth has to be fed. Avoid wrong company. Do not be used by wrong elements in society.
