The Inspector General of Police – IGP – Martins Okoth Ochola has made huge changes in the Force – Kampala Gazette has exclusively obtained.

A hoarse-voice source speaking strictly on condition of anonymity told this publication that the man from Tororo has dropped Abubakar Ziwedde from the Command of the Police Training School – Kabalye – Masindi, and summoned to the Police headquarters in Naguru pending deployment. The source adds: Ezekiel Emitu has been named the new Commandant. By the time of his appointment, Emitu was the Commander – VIPPU. Mukama now takes over the Command of VIPPU.

In the same changes, the source notes that the Ag. Regional Police Commander – RPC – Kampala Metropolitan – KMP/East has been fired. SSP Henry Kintu was appointed acting RPC barely a month ago, after his former boss, Anatoli Katungwesi was sacked following a land grab scandal.
