MISSING: D/ASP Charles Twiine
On Tuesday, Charles Twiine left for Mbarara for a parliamentary assignment.
However, before he could settle in for work on Wednesday, he was summoned by the IGP for a meeting on Wednesday.
Sources say Twiine drove himself to Naguru, where he met the IGP and his deputy.
However, he was handed over to three men wearing suits. A source tells Kampala Gazette that “I met him walking out of DIGP’s office with 3 men in suits. I said hello, but he did not respond. I was left suspicious.”
This morning, his family came out to say that Twiine has been missing since Wednesday. His car remains abandoned in Naguru.
Sources say that Twiine is in the hands of a sister security agency. The agency is yet to issue an official statement.
