Highly Exclusive: Suspects In Murder Of Busoga Businessman, Hajji Ngobi, arrested

Two suspects in the murder of Busoga businessman, Hajji Hamuza Ngobi, have been arrested.
Hajji Ngobi was shot to death by unknown assailants at his residence in Bwondha, Bugadde in Mayuge on Sunday morning.
The deceased was a businessman operating in Mayuge and Iganga.
Now, a deep-throat source source tells Kampala Gazette that two suspects were arrested shortly after the murder.
According to the source, a canine was deployed, and led a team of investigators to the house of one of the suspects. He had already been arrested and detained at at Bwondha Police Station.
However, an irate mob appraoched the Police Station, broke into the cells, beat the suspect to death and set the body on fire.
A source says that the second suspect has been transferred to an unidentified location.
Meanwhile, two people were hit by stray bullets during the scuffle leading to arrests of the suspects. One was killed on the spot, a source says.
The other remains admitted for medical attention.
Hajji Ngobi’s widow, too, is admitted. Our source says he was injured in the scuffle that took her husband’s life.
Security situation reportedly remains tight, with more deployment of personnel called for.
