Details show that Emmeline Bagonza, 41, met her death last evening at Nakawa traffic lights.
Bagonza was on a boda boda when a commuter taxi registration number UAW 332T failed to break, knocking Bagonza. She died on the spot. The taxi continued, knocking a Toyota Hiace registration number UBJ 885Q. Traffic and Road Safety Directorate Spokesperson ASP Faridah Nampiima confirmed the incident that happened at 5pm.
The motorcycle and the rider remain missing.
Yudah Bukeya, the taxi driver, is in custody.
Nampiima says further investigation is underway.
Until her death, Bagonza was a physician at IMC hospital in Kololo.
