Kazo Constituency Member of Parliament, Dan Kimosho, has said that given another opportunity, he would participate in impeaching Mityana Municipality MP, Francis Zaake .
This, after Zaake made a comment suggesting that “..our country desperately needs breaking good news..”
Zaake’s tweet was prompted by an announcement confirming that President Yoweri Museveni had contracted Covid-19 and that he had gone into self-isolation as a way of containing the mild symptoms.
Quoting Zaake’s tweet, Kimosho said: “I have not regretted participating in the impeachment of this guy from the Parliamentary Commission because of his indiscipline! Given an opportunity, I would do the same for his Mityana Parliamentary seat!”
In early 2022, Zaake was impeached on March 10, 2022, following a successful motion to censure him that was tabled by Bardege-Layibi Division MP, Martin Ojara Mapenduzi accusing him of gross misconduct and breach of Parliament decorum because of the insults in question. That’s how he lost Parliamentary Commission seat.
