Two police officers were this evening killed at Busika Police Post.

This was after gunmen riding on motorcycles approached the Post and opened fire, killing two officers and injuring two others.

The deceased have been identified as D/IP Alex Wagaluka (OC/CID) and PC Moses Ongol.

Two officers: Stephen Odama and Adrian Ocom were left wounded. They have been rushed to Bombo Military Hospital for medical attention.

A case of murder by shooting has been registered Vide Sd Ref. 84/31/10/22 and Luwero CRB 841/22 as a probe into the matter starts.
