Ntinda, Kampala: The police at Ntinda are currently investigating a robbery incident that took place on July 29, 2024. It has been reported that Bishop Rtd. Zack David Niringiye, a resident of Kimera Road, Village 12, Ntinda Parish in Kampala, was attacked while on his midday jog.
It is alleged that, as Bishop Niringiye approached Commercial Road, near Rock View Hotel, he was accosted by individuals on a motorcycle. The assailants allegedly struck him with a blunt object, causing him to lose consciousness and fall to the ground. During this attack, his iPhone 13 Pro Max was stolen, the police said.
“The victim was promptly provided with first aid at the nearest clinic and has since been discharged,” said Deputy Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesman Luke Owoyesigyire.
Efforts to apprehend the suspects are ongoing, he added.
