RIP: Henry Mulindwa
Kampala, Uganda — The Ugandan media fraternity is mourning the untimely death of journalist Henry Mulindwa, who until his passing was working with the Daily Monitor.
Mulindwa, died under unclear circumstances. While the exact cause of death has not been officially confirmed, a colleague who preferred anonymity said, “I met him at Mulago Hospital with his mum. He had some complications.” Another journalist added, “I called his phone, and the receiver on the other end confirmed his death.”
Mulindwa had a long-standing career in journalism, and his work with the Daily Monitor had earned him a loyal following among readers who valued his fearless insights and factual reporting.
His passing marks a significant loss to Uganda’s media landscape, with tributes pouring in from fellow journalists, civil society leaders, and readers who appreciated his contributions to national dialogue.
