Kabalagala Police are investigating a suspected murder that took place yesterday, 5th August 2024, at St. Mbaga Zone, Gabba Parish, Makindye Division, Kampala District, at Wave Inn Lodge.

The deceased has been identified as Livingstone Mugaga.

Deputy Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesman Luke Owoyesigyire confirmed the incident.

It is alleged that at around 6 a.m., Mugaga, now deceased, collapsed at Wave Inn Lodge. The lodge staff moved his body to the compound before fleeing the scene.

According to Owoyesigyire, efforts are ongoing to apprehend the lodge attendants and manager to assist in the ongoing investigations.

The body has been conveyed to the City Mortuary Mulago for a postmortem examination.
