Katwe, Kampala: Maid disappears with boss’ kid after Shs 200, 000 threat

A maid in Kampala has disappeared with her boss’ child after she was threatened over Shs 200, 000.
A one Monica disappeared with Esther Nawaguma (1 and a half years old), the daughter of Betty Najjemba, a businesswoman in Kampala after Shs 200, 000 went missing from the house.
Najjemba, a resident of Kanyanya in Makindye Division, told the maid that “by the time i return, i want to find the money back.”
Najjemba says that only two of them (adults) live in the house and so, suspected that Monica had knowledge of the missing money but by the time she returned home last evening, the maid was missing. disappeared with the child.
Police Spokesperson Fred Enanga says there is a hunt for the maid.
Enanga, however, says that Najjemba does not have any documentation showing Monica’s identity.
